Little Bird Cottage is located in one of the South Shore's most desirable beach areas of Prince Edward Island. You will find we're just the ideal place to get away from it all, but still within reach of the best our Island has to offer. You can easily access major highways and roads to experience the rest of PEI while you make yourself at home. How perfect!
Situated on a cozy lot, we have plenty of greenspace for play, while the fringe of trees lining the property offers shade for the hottest days, and privacy for the moments when you want to feel like you're tucked away from the rest of the world.
Little Bird Cottage is 1,300 square feet, two levels, two bedrooms, full kitchen, dining room, sun room, loft family room, plus laundry room, and you can sleep up to four.
Our first level is where you'll enjoy the full kitchen, living room, bedroom, dining room, full bath and laundry room. Our newly renovated kitchen is equipped with all of the utensils, tools and appliances to help you indulge in your own Island-style cooking. The kitchen's center island offers additional storage, as well as houses the dishwasher to allow for quick clean up so you can carry on with your holiday.
Just outside the kitchen on our wrap around deck is the BBQ for you to grill up some of our local fare. There are three points of access to the wrap around deck and adirondack chairs which we expect will become your new favorite spot. You can soak up the sunshine at any time of the day, or take it easy as the sun sets while enjoying that evening glass of wine.
Back inside, the living room has great light and exposure from all sides to create a bright, cheery environment for you to unwind. The pull out sofa also offers additional sleeping options for your family.
Laundry is fully stocked with cleaning supplies, additional towels and sundries, as well as a stacked washer and dryer. We even have a good old fashioned clothesline for our PEI summer breezes and sunshine to dry your laundry.
Our dining room allows for seating up to 8 people, and a high chair or booster seat are available upon request. Explore our collection of Island cookbooks for inspiration on cooking with our local flavors, or uncork a bottle of wine to savour over a good game of cards at the table. This rustic, quaint dining room is a great spot for family time on a rainy day, or just a great spot to hang out with friends to share some laughs.
The first level bedroom offers two twin beds, perfect for kids but large enough for adults; plus additional storage space under each bed for your luggage and wardrobe.
The bath offers updated fixtures and decor, with a full size bath/shower, extra towels and paper products, as well as a hairdryer for your convenience.
The cottage's second level family loft overlooks the main living area through a viewing window. Newly furnished with plenty of games, videos and other entertainment, this room will be the place family fun, or for quiet time after the kids are asleep. Just off the loft is the main bedroom with a queen bed, wardrobe and reading nook.
