Little Bird Cottage
[2 minute walk]

Turn right at the end of our lane, and it's just a two minute walk to a wooded path leading to the stairway down to the private beach. Lounge on the rocks and read that summer book you have been trying to get time to read, bundle up a picnic for two, or come back in the evening to see some of the most amazing sunsets the Island has to offer. The beach is just as spectacular under a full moon, so grab a blanket, flashlight, and a bottle of wine to share in a most memorable evening two could share.

[2 minute drive or 10 minute walk]

A short 2 minute drive or 10 minute walk will take you a couple of fields over to Chelton Provincial Park. This large provincial beach has a lifeguard on duty, picnic area, canteen, plus bathroom and shower facilities. This clean beach is perfect for young kids as the water does not drop off quickly, and there's endless sand and sandbars for discovering treasures. For the entire family, this beach offers breathtaking views of the Northumberland Straight as you enjoy the warm waters of our South Shore. Chelton Provincial Park is simply one of PEI's best kept secrets.

[2 minute drive or 10 minute walk]

A right turn instead of left at the end of Gordon Cove Road will lead you to the shores closest to the Confederation Bridge. This sandy beach is only a 2 minute drive by car, a short jaunt by bicycle, or a 10 minute stroll away and will give you a perfect view of our bridge. You may even get the chance to see some local lobster fishers out for their catch, kayakers floating along near the shore, or even spot one of the many cruise ships that dock in Charlottetown passing under the bridge. The bridge silhouetted against the sky at twilight is really quite something to see as you listen to the lullaby of the waves coming ashore.
